Tracy D. Ceres, RYT 200
(Owner of Electric City Yoga, LLC) Certified Yoga Teacher, Registered w/Yoga Alliance)

I've pretty much always been an active person; an avid equestrian, played tennis, a short stint in body building and a personal trainer. With all of that, I still felt like something was missing.  I was very interested in this thing called "yoga," but hadn't had the opportunity to try it; until that fateful time about 8 years ago when I finally decided to take a yoga class at the local gym.  It was here I met my yogi, Jennifer Blanton.  Through her  classes my heart and soul were opened and I dove in!

Yoga was everything I had imagined it would be and more.  It was the balance, that something else I had been searching for.  I felt such a deep connection with everything I had learned and been exposed to and it changed my life.

I made the decision to continue deeper into my yoga practice and began taking workshops and masterclasses, eventually leading me to Asheville Yoga Center in Asheville, NC where I completed my 200hr RYT teacher training.  What an amazing experience!

My practice and teaching style focuses on breath and movement, acceptance, compassion and a completely non-judgment based practice.  In my studio you will be accepted for who you are and where you are in your practice.  Yay You!!!  Always, providing motivation, modification and growth.

Yoga is love and my mission is to bring just a little more love into all the lives I have the privilege of teaching.

Can't wait to meet you on the mat!!

Much love and light,

Nicolette Pickard, RYT200

(Certified Yoga Teacher/Registered w/Yoga Alliance)

Nicolette’s journey with yoga began 13 years ago with a quick trip (and fall) down the stairs. Yoga was suggested as a potential alternative to back surgery, and the rest is history. Yoga has helped her manage pain and maintain mobility.
After several years of practicing, she decided it was time to expand her knowledge and completed her RYT-200 registration at Chesapeake Hot Yoga in Virginia. She has taught at Chesapeake Hot Yoga and at North Point Fitness Institute in Ohio.
Nicolette looks to continue her yoga journey and is excited for you to join her.

Michelle Stephens RYT200

(Certified Yoga Teacher/Registered w/Yoga Alliance)

My yoga journey began 25 years ago. Like so many of us, I was burning the candle at both ends juggling career and personal life with little time left for myself. I had always been physically active but my mind and body needed something else. As I ventured through my yoga practice I came to the realization that perfecting asanas (poses) is not important. Learning to accept our ever changing bodies.

Upon retiring from the Hart County School System as an Agriculture Teacher and Director of Nutrition, I received my 200 hour certification, (RYT), through the Asheville Yoga Center. I am also a member of Yoga Alliance, a professional organization for yoga instructors.

I am excited to share what I have learned through my practice with you.

Sara Hayes, RYT 200 (Certified Yoga Teacher)

When I was a young girl I used to watch my grandmother stand on her head and do these really cool and very slow dances (Thai Chi).  A few days a week we would go to yoga together and the feeling I had in the class was like no other.  I felt freedom and peace in my body and mind.  I am so thankful for the foundation that was set not only for my yoga practice but for life.  My yoga practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and confident, both on and off the mat.  Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully.

Having taught over 1000 classes I have found my style to be a mixture of creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice.  I seek to help other thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished, challenged and balanced.  I want you to take the studio practice home with you and integrate it into your world.  Leave class knowing you have a community where you are supported, loved and needed.
